Auditions for the Washington Musical are fun and easy...if you take a little time beforehand to prepare. The following tips will help you be the most successful. Everyone who auditions will follow the same procedure.
Step 1. Arriving at Washington Junior High School
Arrive a few minutes early so you can fill out an audition form. The form will ask you for some basic contact information, scheduling conflicts and prior theatre/performing experience. If you have a theatre resume, you may bring it with you. We don’t need headshots.
Please be honest about conflicts you will have with our rehearsal schedule. Include things like Dance classes, sports conflicts, etc.
Bring a pen or pencil, sheet music, dance shoes (no flip flops!), conflicts, and comfortable clothes you can move in!
